Annual Contract for On-Call Moving Services

The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for a qualified commercial moving company to relocate the contents of the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) offices to their Headquarters Buildings and other SAWS facilities located within Bexar County; this movement may include contents of SAWS facilities at East Side Service Center, Mission Road- Quality Control and Service Center Buildings, Malone Service Center, Carlisle Service Center, various Customer Service Centers, various off-site storage locations and Cherry Street Heating & Cooling Building. Scope may also include any District Special Project Locations (f.k.a. BexarMet Water District locations). Refer to the chart below for comprehensive list of facility locations. Services will be on an “On-Call” as needed basis.
Based on historical data, the estimated number of jobs per calendar year is 17; the average number of hours to complete a job is 7; the estimated dollar value of each move is $1,800.00.
Job size, items, and number of locations involved to be moved will vary by job request.
