The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is soliciting bids for a new 500 HP horizontal electric induction motor to replace an existing 500 HP horizontal electric induction motor serving horizontal split case High Service Pump 3-6 at the Naco Pump Station. The purchase mentioned includes factory testing and delivery of one (1) 500 HP, WP-II, 4000 Volt, 1200 RPM horizontal motor equipped as specified hereinafter. SAWS will be responsible for the field installation of the new motor and making all final connections. Delivery date shall be no more than 22 weeks after approval of shop drawing submittals. Performance level shall meet the specifications contained hereinafter. All shipping, delivery, and testing costs shall be included in the bid.
