Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 689

linear feet of 24-inch water main for the Dickerson 16-Inch Oversize (8-Inch Required) Water Main

Extension, SAWS Job No. 19-1019. The San Antonio Water System Master Plan and the anticipated

growth in this area require a 16-inch water main between the existing 16-inch water main on the southern

ROW of West Grosenbacher Rd. and the northwest corner of the Dickerson Tract. Additionally, a 16-inch

water main between the existing 24-inch water main on Grosenbacher Rd. and the existing 16-inch water

main on the southern ROW of West Grosenbacher Rd. will be required.

A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project.

to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on January 17, 2020 January 22, 2020 as a separate document or included as part of an

addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff,

the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is

awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

 

Sealed bids will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard

Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM

(CT), January 24, 2020 January 29, 2020. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent ofthe total bid price.
