Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the purpose of retaining a licensed and bonded Plumbing Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to install residential Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) and Thermal Expansion Tanks (TETs) in accordance with the plans and specifications for the Hidden Springs Residential PRV Project (Job # 13-7002).

Answers to the questions will be posted to the website by 4:00 p.m. (CT) on April 3, 2013 included as part of an addendum.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on March 28, 2013 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, Tower II, 1st floor, Conference Room 154, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project.

A non-mandatory site visit will be held at 2:30 p.m. on March 28, 2013. Attendees shall meet SAWS Staff and LNV personnel at the northern Hidden Springs security gate entrance off Aue Road and Rocky Hill. Map included in the bid documents.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 a.m., April 10, 2013. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
