San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the labor, materials, equipment, supervision and all work necessary to renew approximately 3,400 linear feet of designated small wastewater collection system pipelines using the Pipebursting method, including replacement of approximately 60 laterals, approximately 10 point repairs, and replacement of approximately 1 manhole frames and covers for the Wastewater Collection System Small Main Rehabilitation at Focus Areas – Pipebursting Method, SAWS Job No. 08-4501.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 p.m., January 5, 2010.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration Office, Suite 171, Conference Room 169 at the San Antonio Water System Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. This solicitation includes a Good Faith Effort Plan and a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, CIQ Form, which should be included as part of your bid and will become part of the construction contract documents.   Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.

 

A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project.

The System reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all formalities.
