San Antonio Water System

The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is accepting Statements of Qualifications to engage a qualified law firm(s) to provide Bond Counsel and Co-Counsel services to assist SAWS in matters related to the issuance of both long-term and short-term debt, which will require a Scope of Services to be performed.  SAWS anticipates appointing a qualified firm to serve as Lead Bond Counsel and one or more firms to form a pool of Co-Counsel firms to assist the Lead Bond Counsel during the issuance and sale of SAWS’ obligations.

This RFQ does not obligate SAWS to employ bond counsel(s) for any or all of its financings.  Also, this request does not obligate SAWS to utilize a certain firm for any or all of the services outlined.

The selected firm(s) will serve as Bond Counsel and Co-Bond Counsel under the terms of the contract, with the exception of those financings that are already in process or under contract, which include:

·       City of San Antonio, Texas Water System Junior Lien Revenue Bonds, Series 2020C (No Reserve Fund)
