Sealed bid is requested by the San Antonio Water System for the permanent structural stabilization of the Sludge Loading Building at the Dos Rios WRC Facility. Permanent structural stabilization will include load alleviation by utilizing shoring jack or adequately sized cranes, replacement of two corner columns, removal of existing roof sheathing and purlins, installation of new additional members and diagonal and lateral bracing members, replacement and pre-tensioning of all structural bolts, and stiffening and strengthening of other structural membersfor the Dos Rios WRC Sludge Loading Building Permanent Stabilization, SAWS Job #12-6503

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 5, 2012 at the Dos Rios Treatment Plant Guard House3495 Valley Road, 78221, San Antonio Texas.

 

 

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 p.m. on January 18, 2012. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
