Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the BGD-14 Well Construction Project, SAWS Job No. 19-8607.  The project involves the drilling, development, and testing of a 2,000 foot brackish Wilcox production well.  The well will be a lapped construction with an 18-inch diameter surface casing in the upper portion of the well and 12-inch diameter pipe based stainless steel screen/blank in the lower portion of the well.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on March, 26, 2019 at the San Antonio Water System’s H2Oaks Desalination Plant Building, 1st floor, Main Conference Room, 4588 Hardy Rd., Elemendorf, Texas 78112.  Please allow approximately 15 minutes to check in at the Guard Station and drive to the desalination building.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on April 2, 2019 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or COSA officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents.

Sealed proposals will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT), April 10, 2019.  Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price.
