CHANGE MADE TO ADDENDUM POST DATE AND BID DUE DATE - REFERENCE ADDENDUM 1, 2 and 3

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 4,262 linear feet (LF) of 36-inch sewer outfall main and 1,716 LF of 15-inch gravity sewer main to be extended from the existing 36-inch sewer main near the intersection of Medio Dr and Talley Road for the Westpointe West Offsite Sewer Extension – Phase I, SAWS Job No. 18-1658. The San Antonio Water System Master Plan and anticipated growth in this area requires the construction of a 36-inch outfall main as well as a series of 15-inch gravity sewer mains in order to supply services to the Medio Creek watershed.

A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 5:00 PM (CT) on January 23, 2019 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 1:00 PM (CT), February 6, 2019.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
