REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

LIFT STATIONS REHABILITATION - PHASE 5

The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering services and accepting statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified engineers/engineering firms (Respondent(s)) for the design of the Lift Stations Rehabilitation - Phase 5 Project (“Project”).  The selected engineer/engineering firm (Consultant(s)) will provide preliminary engineering, design, bid and construction phase services. 

The Lift Station Rehabilitation program was initiated to assess, rehabilitate, and upgrade lift stations in five (5) phases to be completed by 2021. This Project, being the last phase, will entail upgrades and renovations of approximately eighteen (18) existing lift station facilities located at Port San Antonio and Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) to address Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements.  These improvements shall be implemented in such a manner to minimize impacts to the lift station operations.  Cooperation, knowledge/understanding and strict adherence to the rules set forth by the mentioned entities shall also be a requirement during the design and construction of the Project.
