WELL SITE DEVELOPMENT DESIGN SERVICES H2OAKS

BRACKISH GROUNDWATER DESALINATION FACILITY

The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering design services and accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from professional engineering firms (Respondent) in connection with the well site development project at the SAWS H₂Oaks Brackish Groundwater Desalination (BGD) facility. The primary objectives of the project are the following:

·         Convert an existing test well (test well #1) to a production well;

·         Develop plans and specifications (civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control) for well sites of a new production well (BGD-14) and the existing test well #1;

·         Modify the control strategy of production well operation in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), so that all the production wells provide consistent flow during the operation of the plant;

·         Develop plans and specification to expand the existing evaporation pond at BGD facility, if required.
