Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) for the supply of all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to repair existing roof systems by installing a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof overlay roof systems on the Quality Control (QC) Building and on the Administrative Building at SAWS Mission Road Service Center, located at 517 Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78210 and coordinate installing the roofing systems so all components of the roofing systems are not subjected to precipitation or left uncovered at the end of the workday or when rain is imminent, for the Mission Road Service Center Roof Repair Project. The roofing components and assemblies shall be from a single manufacturer.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on October 9, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Mission Road Service Center QC Building, Conference Room 1, 517 Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas.  Following the meeting, a roofing site visit will be conducted for each of the work sites. Please have all necessary Personal Protective Equipment required for observation of the work sites.

Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT), October 19, 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
