Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the Maltsberger Pump Station Improvements including an electrical building; new pump switchgear and motor control centers, SCADA, ductwork and wiring, yard piping; flow control valves; pressure reducing valve vaults, concrete foundations; demolition of existing structures and other site improvements for the CENTRAL WATER INTEGRATION PIPELINE MALTSBERGER PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS, SAWS Job No. 18-8617.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 9:00 AM (CDT) on August 22, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Administration Building, 1^st floor in the Cafeteria, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas, 78212. Non-mandatory site visit to follow at the Maltsberger Pump Station. The address for the site visit is 8910 Jones Maltsberger Road, San Antonio, Texas 78216.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 10:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. (CDT) on August 31 0, 2018 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or COSA officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents.

Sealed proposals will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM (CT), September 7, 2018.  Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C145, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price.
