Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the Bitters Pump Station including a new booster pump station; new ground storage tank; yard piping; flow control valves; electrical and instrumentation equipment; concrete foundations; demolition of existing structures and other site improvements, and Pipeline Segment 5-3 consisting of approximately 1,900 lineal feet of 48-inch steel pipe water main and appurtenances for the CENTRAL WATER INTEGRATION PIPELINE BITTERS PUMP STATION AND SEGMENT 5-3 Project, SAWS Job No. 18-8613.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (CDT) on August 2, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Administration Building, 1^st floor in the Cafeteria, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas, 78212.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 10:00 a.m. (CDT) on August 7 9, 2018 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or COSA officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents.

Sealed proposals will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT), August 14, 2018.  Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C145, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price.

A non-mandatory site visit will be held from 9:00 am-11:00 am (CDT) on August 8,2018 at the Bitters Pump Station, 13535 West Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78216 and Tower Dr. Tank Site, 302 Tower Dr., Hill Country Village, Texas 78232. Both sites will be available simultaneously.
