The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is soliciting bids to retain a Contractor to perform rehabilitation and replacement of existing SAWS sanitary sewer facilities.  The work will involve rehabilitation of approximately 17,350 LF of existing sewer pipe using a Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) for the 2018 CIPP Small Pipe Diameter Package, Project, SAWS Job No.17-4547.  Also involved will be reconnection of service laterals and related work for replacement, rehabilitation, repair, and/or upgrade of associated manhole structures.

A-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on June 4, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 1st floor, Conference Room C145, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.  Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 10:00 AM (CT) on June 6, 2018 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:30 AM (CT), June 12, 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C145, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
