San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the rehabilitation and painting of a 7.5 MG ground storage tank for the Naco Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project, SAWS Job No. 17-0113. The project includes, but is not limited to, the repainting of the interior and exterior surfaces, overflow pipe modifications, other minor piping modifications, two (2) 48-inch and one (1) 60-inch butterfly valve replacement, weir box repairs, minor foundation improvements, new access platform, tank ladder improvements, roof vent replacement, electrical improvements, and other miscellaneous work.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on April 11, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Naco Pump Station, 13655 O’Connor Road, San Antonio, Texas 78233. Access to the site must be through the Nacogdoches gate.  A work site visit will be conducted following the meeting.  Please have all necessary Personal Protective Equipment required for observation of the work sites.

Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM (CT), April 25, 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
