San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction the Dos Rios WRC Thickening Facility Expansion Project, SAWS Job No. 17-6507. The project will install two centrifuges and associated structures along with the construction of a new electrical building and related ancillary works to operate the centrifuges.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 1:30 PM (CT) on March 28 2018 2:00 PM (CT) on March 29 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Dos Rios WRC Administration Building 16 Conference Room, 3495 Valley Road San Antonio, Texas, 78221. Attendees wishing to conduct site visits after the meeting shall be required to supply their own personal protective equipment including a hard hat, high visibility vest and steel toe boots due to the ongoing construction in the area.  Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the mandatory pre-bid meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project.

Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM (CT), April 9, 2018 until 2:00 PM (CT), April 12, 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Conference Room 137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
