Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the Dos Rios WRC Headworks Enhancements Project, SAWS Job No. 16-6505. The project generally entails construction of two parshall flumes and associated structures along with installation of a new stainless-steel slide gate and associated ancillary works to support their construction and operation.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and on-site visit will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on January 4, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Dos Rios WRC Administration Building 17, Room 1716, 3495 Valley Road San Antonio, Texas, 78221. Attendees wishing to conduct site visits after the meeting shall be required to supply their own personal protective equipment including a hard hat, high visibility vest and steel toe boots due to the ongoing construction in the area.

Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT), January 19, 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Conference Room 137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
