Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer main identified by televised inspection to be in very poor condition. This project is part of the EPA Consent Decree. Each year, SAWS is required to inspect high risk pipe to evaluate its condition and to take the necessary action to prevent sanitary sewer overflows. The areas identified for rehabilitation were evaluated to determine the most cost effective rehabilitation method. This project will fund rehabilitation of approximately 3.9 miles of small diameter (8” to 15”) sewer mains utilizing pipe bursting and cured-in- place pipe methods for the Central Sewershed Package 4 Project, SAWS Job No. 17-4537.

Sealed bids will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 11:00 AM (CT), October 30, 2017. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
