INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Solicitation No. B-17-008-RA

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the diagnostic testing and mitigation of one private domestic well, the construction of one domestic well, the connection of two water meters to private residences, and the plugging of one domestic well, with well casing diameters for diagnostics and plugging ranging from four to six inches, and well casing diameter for the constructed well at six inches, all associated with wells for the SAWS Water Well Mitigation Program, Job No. 17-0110. The project area will include all or parts of the following counties: Atascosa, Bexar, Wilson.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on May 17, 2017 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM (CT), May 24, 2017. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
