Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of a 9 MGD Pumping Station for the Salado Pressure Zone 1295 Booster Station Project, SAWS Job No. 14-6102.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on April 20, 2017 April 13, 2017as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

 A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 PM (CT) on April 7, 2017 at the San Antonio Water System’s Tower II Building, first floor, Conference Room CR-C145, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the mandatory pre-bid meeting be allowed to submit for the project.  Please be aware that a mandatory site visit will occur at the project site directly following the pre-bid meeting.  Additional information regarding this site visit will be provided during the pre-bid meeting.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 1:00 PM (CT), April 27, 2017 9:30 AM (CT) April 19, 2017.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in conference room CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
