San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing the assistance of a qualified actuarial firm to conduct a comprehensive actuarial analysis of SAWS’ self-insured workers’ compensation and liability programs to include an estimate of the unpaid loss and allocated loss adjustment expense (ALAE) for known claims, and claims which have occurred but have not yet been reported (incurred but not reported or IBNR).
