San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the replacement of approximately 10,120 linear feet of existing 18-inch and 21-inch gravity sewer main with approximately 10,000 linear feet of 24-inch and 30-inch gravity sewer main. Project limits extend from Mulberry Ave. to Babcock Road along Morning Glory, Senisa Dr, St. Cloud, Evelyn Dr, and Overbrook Dr. This project is part of Early Action Phase I of the Consent Decree to be complete before July 2019 for the C-12 Donaldson Terrace Project, SAWS Job No. 13-2506.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on August 4, 2016 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 3:00 PM (CT) on July 28, 2016 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 1st floor, Conference Room CR-C145, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 9:00 AM (CT), August 9, 2016.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, CR-C145, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
