San Antonio Water System

SAWS is currently seeking an Owner’s Representative (OR) to provide professional engineering services for the Vista Ridge Integration Project (VRIP). The OR will provide pipeline and water quality analysis, preliminary engineering design, develop a design criteria package (DCP), assist in the procurement of a Design-Build firm (DB), as well as provide project management and construction management services for the infrastructure necessary to treat and integrate water from a 45 MGD treatment plant into the SAWS distribution system. Professional engineering services provided by the OR shall be in full compliance with Texas Occupational Code Ann. § C § 1001.001.

Design build shall have the meaning provided under Texas Government Code Ann. § 2269 and may be referred to in this document as design-build, DB, Design-Build, Design/Build. While SAWS fully anticipates using the Design Build (DB) procurement method for this project, this RFQ shall not be construed to limit SAWS’ evaluation of qualifications conducted herein from applying to services for or related to other traditional or alternative delivery methods allowed under law, should it become in the best interest of SAWS to use such other methods of procurement for this project.

Respondents are required to attend a mandatory pre-submittal meeting in order to submit a proposal for this RFQ.
