San Antonio Water System

Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the Chilled Water Plant Improvements Project, SAWS Job No. 15-7502. The project includes construction services, including but not limited to, the following:

Demolition of existing concrete pavers, trees, irrigation lines, plumbing, and electrical services as well as the construction of new landscaping areas, including shrubs, trees, irrigation lines, lighting, plumbing,  and electrical services for three water fountains located at 900 E. Commerce St.

For questions regarding this solicitation, technical questions or additional information, please contact Gina Cappa, Contract Administrator, in writing via email to: Gina.Cappa@saws.org until 4:00 PM (CT) on February 4, 2016 (CT). Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on February 8, 2016 (CT) as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:30 AM (CT) on February 2^nd, 2016 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 1st floor, Conference Room CR-C137, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas followed by a non-mandatory visit to the site at 900 E. Commerce St. 

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:30 AM (CT), February 12, 2016.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Conference Room CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
