Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the Cibolo Creek Sewershed Flow Diversion Project, SAWS Job No. 11-2511. Work associated with the project includes Installation of two sanitary sewer lift stations (Lift Station A = 1.56 MGD capacity and Lift Station B = 2.65 MGD capacity), including site work, wet wells, pumps, piping, valves, electrical and controls, SCADA including required programming for a turnkey system, antenna tower, and miscellaneous appurtenances. Installation of approximately 4,400 linear feet of 12-inch force main and 10,300 linear feet of 16-inch force main.  Installation of approximately 9,600 linear feet of gravity sanitary sewer main ranging in diameter from 8-inches to 18-inches.”

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on July 13, 2015 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.

A Mandatory Pre-proposal Meeting will be held at 9:00 AM (CDT) on July 8, 2015 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 2800 U.S Highway 281 North, 1^st floor, Conference Room C137.  There will be no  site visit.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT) on July 28, 2015. Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. This solicitation requires a Qualification Package, Good Faith Effort Plan, and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, which should be included as part of the proposals and will become part of the construction documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
