The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering services for the Dos Rios Water Recycling Center (WRC) Electrical System Improvements – Phase 1 project.  The project includes the replacement of motor control centers (MCCs); generators; plant substations; plant pad mounted transformers; electrical equipment associated with the Primary Clarifiers; replacement of SAWS owned 13.2 kilovolt   overhead service feeder; replacement of power, control and instrumentation cable and remote input/output (RIO) controllers for the Distributed Control System (DCS) as associated with these electrical equipment replacements; and an evaluation of the controls, vibration monitoring system, electrical gear, and associated RIOs of the blowers.  SAWS is accepting Statements of Qualifications in connection with the Dos Rios WRC Electrical System Improvements – Phase 1 project, which will require a Scope of Services to be performed by a qualified consultant or consulting firms.
