The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing Professional Engineering Services to provide plans, specifications, and construction services for the DSP Clayton Tank Replacement Project. The project consists of the demolition of a 100,000-gallon elevated storage tank, structures, plugging of three water wells, and grading located at 19845 Clayton St, Somerset TX. The Project also includes the construction of new facilities at the Somerset Pump Station located at 19260 Somerset Road, Somerset Texas, including a new 1.5 million gallon ground storage tank (GST), a chlorine building for housing 150-lb cylinders, tank overflow drainage system, demolition of an existing 300,000-gallon GST, installation of a pressure reducing valve for future use, grading, pavement, site security, miscellaneous electrical and SCADA system upgrades and site lighting.
