San Antonio Water System

The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering services for the Salado Creek Water Recycling Center (WRC) Head Works Improvements project. The project includes the rehabilitation of the existing grit chambers, replacing the fine screens with possibly a different technology for screening the influent; rehabilitation/replacement of the motor operated slide gates; upgrading electrical system components, instrumentation and control system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) / Distributed Control System (DCS)) for communication with the Dos Rios Water Recycling Center and miscellaneous site work and improvements. SAWS is accepting Statements of Qualifications in connection with the Salado Creek WRC Head Works Improvements project, which will require a Scope of Services to be performed by a qualified consultant or consulting firms.
