Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the Dos Rios WRC Primary Clarifier Rehabilitation Project, SAWS Job No. 16-6502.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on January 22, 2018 at the San Antonio Water System’s Dos Rios WRC Administration Building 17, Room 1716, 3495 Valley Road San Antonio, Texas, 78221. Please allow sufficient time to check in at the Guard Station. Attendees wishing to conduct site visits after the meeting shall be required to supply their own personal protective equipment including a hard hat, high visibility vest and steel toe boots due to the ongoing construction in the area. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the mandatory pre-bid meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 10:00 AM (CT) on January 31, 2018 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed bids will be received Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT), February 12, 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Conference Room 137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
