Advanced Metering Infrastructure Hardware and Services
The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is issuing this RFI to collect information for the purpose of studying, comparing and evaluating its needs from Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) vendors. This RFI is to gather current product offerings for a complete AMI network including, all communication components, infrastructure, the MDM, meter endpoints, etc. and the information obtained may be used for the purpose of preparing, if the System so decides, a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposal (RFCSP) or similar document for the acquisition of AMI networking alternatives. There is no requirement that a respondent provide all needed components or services.
