Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the drilling and testing of a Carrizo Aquifer well approximately 2,400 feet deep, installation of a  75 hp pump capable of producing at least 1,000 gallons per minute, and installation of an associated electrical panel for the SAWS Gonzales County Saturn Well Project, SAWS Job No. 15-0130.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on January 29, 2016 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on January 25, 2016 at the Gonzales County Water Supply Corporation, 1903 Sarah DeWitt Drive, Gonzales, TX 78629.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM (CT), February 3, 2016.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, CR-C145 CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
