San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 5,000 linear feet of water main and 3,200 linear feet of sewer main and all necessary appurtenances for the installation, replacement, and adjustment of SAWS facilities for the 2015 Governmental Water & Sewer Construction Package I, SAWS Job No. 15-5020 & 15-5520.

This work will involve replacement of SAWS water, sewer, or recycle facilities as well as minor adjustments, such as valves, manholes, exploratory work, etc., for street and alley projects.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM (CT) on July 9, 2015 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, Tower II, 1^st floor, Conference Room 137, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project. The Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be video recorded for record purposes. Please be advised that only Contractors will be allowed to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, no Supply Companies or Manufacturers are to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 AM (CT), July 16, 2015. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
