San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the diagnostic testing and mitigation of four private domestic wells, the construction of one domestic wells, the connection of three water meters to private residences, and the plugging of four domestic wells, with well casing diameters for diagnostics and plugging ranging from four to six inches, and well casing diameter for the constructed well at six inches, all associated with wells for the SAWS Water Well Mitigation Program Job No. 15-0116. The project area will include all or parts of the following counties: Bexar, Atascosa, Wilson.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on June 19, 2015 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on June 17, 2015 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, 1st floor, Conference Room C137, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 a.m., June 30, 2015??. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
