San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the purpose of retaining a Contractor to Construct and install vault lids on nineteen vaults for the Carrizo Aquifer Storage and Recovery Transmission Pipeline Segment II Vault Covers, SAWS Job No. 14-8609. The contractor will also prepare all in-vault piping to remove any scale or rust, etc. to apply paint and or protective coating to preserve the in-vault above ground piping. Land clearing along the easement will be required to gain access to each vault. Clearing around each vault is required to allow the construction work to occur.

A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 a.m., June 24, 2014. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
