Sealed bids for the purchase of LAND will be received by SAWS either Electronically or through Sealed bids, until 10:00 AM (CDT) on April 5, 2024. Electronic bids will be received via a secure SAWS File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site. Sealed bids will be received by Contract Administration, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Tower II, Customer Center Building, via a drop box located on the left wall when walking through the first set of double glass doors of the main Tower II entry on the north side of the building, San Antonio, Texas 78212. See the Electronic Bid Opening Instructions attachment for additional information regarding an electronic bid submittal. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration via WebEx. 

THERE IS A $3,000 MINIMUM BID, ALL BIDS BELOW $3,000 WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED

Bidder’s email requesting access to the FTP site shall provide the legal name of Bidder or Bidder’s company and the intended recipient’s email address and phone number. No requests for FTP site access will be accepted after 4:00 PM (CDT) on April 4, 2024

Answers to the questions will be posted to the website by 5:00 PM (CDT) each Friday until the bid opening at 10:00 AM (CDT) on April 5, 2024, as part of supplemental information. 

Description: An approximately 0.3704-acre tract located in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, described more particularly on Exhibit “A” attached hereto, together with all improvements thereon and appurtenances thereto.

THERE IS A 13.6’ WIDE DRAINAGE EASEMENT THAT RUNS ACROSS THE SAWS PROPERTY, AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT “A” (THE “DRAINAGE EASEMENT”). NO IMPROVEMENTS OR STRUCTURES MAY BE PLACED ON THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT.

Sealed bids are to be submitted on SAWS’ bid documents. The bid documents contain the terms and conditions under which the property will be conveyed, and prospective bidders should familiarize themselves with these bid documents. Such terms and conditions include reservations of easement rights and water rights to the property.
