The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is requesting proposals for temporary employment agencies to provide one or more of the following services,Temporary, Temporary to Hire, Direct Hire, Pre-employment Testing, and Payrolling.

SAWS occasionally has a need to fill a variety of positions including general business (administrative), field work, call center, laboratory services, financial, and human resources. Agencies may be able to provide candidates for one or more of these employment categories and may bid on one or more category of positions. Each response should include a summary sheet that details each category of position for which they are submitting a bid.  In addition, the responses should indicate pricing for each of the services; Temporary, Temporary to Hire, Direct Hire, Pre-employment Testing, and Payrolling.

SAWS is a water, waste water and water reuse agency of the City of San Antonio. SAWS employs a workforce of approximately 1,700 employees. SAWS contracts about 250 temporary employees per year, at an amount exceeding $750,000. The length of the temporary employment varies from one day to six months. Temporary employees may be required to report to any of the seventeen (17) locations that SAWS has throughout the San Antonio area. The temporary employee(s) shall report to any System's location.
