The San Antonio Water System (“SAWS”) is soliciting “Best-Value” bids from a manufacturer, its manufacturer’s authorized representative, distributor, or supplier, to purchase an automated chemistry analyzer utilizing flow injection analysis (FIA) for the analytical determination of Cyanide, Ammonia Nitrogen, and Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN) in water and wastewater. The analyzer system comprised of instrument with a dual beam detector, amperometric detector, gas diffusion manifolds, UV digestion module, auto-sampler, and computer will contain software applications for data acquisition, data processing and data reporting that will be utilized at the San Antonio Water System Laboratory, located at 3610 Valley Road, San Antonio, TX 78221. Bidder will be responsible for delivery, installation, training, service agreement, and repair if damaged in setup. It is SAWS’ intent to award to the vendor that provides the “Best Value” bid for the instrument, training and services requested.
