The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for a qualified commercial moving company to relocate the contents of the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) offices to their Headquarters Buildings and other SAWS facilities located within Bexar County; this movement may include contents of SAWS facilities at East Side Service Center, Mission Road- Quality Control and Service Center Buildings, Malone Service Center, Carlisle Service Center, and Cherry Street Heating & Cooling Building.
The relocation of approximately 350 employees, with their office contents, is anticipated to begin May 2012 and continue through Spring of 2013. The majority of the moves will occur between Friday evening and Saturday evening rather than during the week; however after-hour and/or weekday moves may be a consideration for some of the smaller groups. In rare instances, contents could be moved during the normal workday. Any moves occurring other than on weekends, must be approved in advance by SAWS POC.
