The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids from qualified Contractor for Asbestos Transite Pipe Transportation and Disposal Services. SAWS currently have four (4) different locations that require handling, collecting, containing, packaging, transporting and disposing asbestos transite pipes.
The Contractor is required (1) to provide 25 yard Roll - Off Boxes to store the wrapped pipes, (2) empty boxes approximately once or twice a month depending on the location to include transportation and disposal. Initial quantities needed for each location are specified below. Frequencies of pick-ups are all estimates and subject to change depending at SAWS needs.
