The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids to purchase 99.5 % liquid carbon dioxide for use in the treatment of potable water supplies at the Twin Oaks ASR Plant at 4588 Hardy Road San Antonio Texas 78112. It is estimated 240,000 pounds or 120 tons will be used during a six month period. The usage will vary according to the weather. The less rain the more usage. Liquid carbon dioxide is stored in a 200,000 lb. storage tank.
