San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for the replacement and installation of the existing Trane Water-cooled 300 Ton Trane Chiller RTHB-IOM-1 in Tower 1 and the possibility of a Water-cooled 215 Ton Trane Chiller RTHB-IOM-1 replacement in Tower 2. With a Danfoss Turbocor magnetic bearing and variable-speed drives to deliver better IPLV efficiencies on an oil free centrifugal chillers system. Which also needs to be include is a redundancy of multiple compressors per Chiller to allow for unusual redundancy safeguards; that allows system to have the capability on low-loads to use a VFD integrated into each compressor control, and which uses multiple compressors can be efficiently driven right down below 10% to 5 % load. Also, has the service ability to access operating history through remote monitoring and set points that are all accessible thru the existing BAS system [ Computrols ] which uses BACnet Protocol. This solicitation is for a turnkey replacement and must include plumbing, refrigerant, disposal, crane support, rigging if needed, welding, piping, vent piping, control valves and any other associated material for a professional quality installation.
