The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is expanding services for management of biosolids through off site composting and is accepting bids to select qualified contractors to provide the complete management of dewatered biosolids through composting at an established permitted facility. Services should include loading, hauling of biosolids, manufacture of compost, and the supply of the product(s) to suitable markets at their existing facility. Only compost facilities that are permitted and operational will be considered.
