San Antonio Water System

The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids to perform electrical maintenance and repair services for Production and Treatment facilities throughout Bexar County in accordance with the requirements stipulated herein and all prevailing federal, state, and local regulations. High, Medium, and Low voltage electrical repair services may include but not be limited to work on motor control centers (MCCs), starters, switchgear, enclosures, insulators, supports and connectors, conductors, breakers, auxiliary devices, protective relays, power factor capacitors, variable frequency drives, motors, wiring, switches, and similar equipment; preventive maintenance, testing and analysis, including infrared thermography, ultrasonic inspection, voltage-ampere diagnostics, power quality measurement, arc-flash studies, visual inspection, with energized and de-energized maintenance service as scheduled. Contractor shall be required to perform these services with the appropriate labor categories for the work requested, upon SAWS direction, in areas designated by the SAWS authorized representatives.
