POTENTIAL BIDDERS MUST RSVP BY 11/9  TO ATTEND THE 11/13 PRE-BID MEETING

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System to furnish all labor, materials, and supervision required for the replacement of two (2) 15 kV SF6 Load Break switches for the Kelly Building 356 Switch Gear Project, SAWS Job No. 12-0107.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the website by 4:00 p.m. (CT) on November 16, 2012, as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the San Antonio Water System’s Port San Antonio, 85 Park Court, Building 84 San Antonio, Texas. A mandatory site visit will follow the pre-bid meeting. Attendees are required to RSVP to Diana Dwyer no later than Friday, November 9. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit be allowed to submit a bid for the project.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 p.m., November 27, 2012. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
