San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 1,700 linear feet of water main and 3,350 linear feet of sewer main and all necessary appurtenances for the installation, replacement, and adjustment of SAWS facilities for the 2012 Water & Sewer Construction Package VII Project, SAWS Job No. 12-5083 & 12-5583.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (CT), on October 26, 2012 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, Tower II, 1^st floor, Conference Room 145, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project. The Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be video recorded for record purposes. Please be advised that only Contractors will be allowed to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, no Supply Companies or Manufactures are to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:30 AM (CT), November 7, 2012. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
