Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for installation, labor and materials of approximately 4,800 linear feet of chain link fence with 3-strand barbed-wire and a 12” concrete mow-strip at the Far North Service Center Perimeter Fence Project, SAWS Job No. 11-7701.
The property is located at 15103, Capital Port, San Antonio, Texas 78249. Access points will include; two (2) main access gates, two (2) alternate access gates, and six (6) vehicular access gates for site maintenance.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the website by 4:00 p.m. (CT) on August 21, 2012 included as part of an addendum.
A non-mandatorypre-bid meeting will be at 10:00 a.m. on August 16, 2012 at the project site, 15103 Capital Port, San Antonio, Texas, 78249.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 a.m., August 23, 2012. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
