Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for thediagnostic testing and mitigation of seventeen private irrigation wells, the construction of two irrigation wells, and the plugging of two irrigation wells, well casing diameters for diagnostics and plugging will range from eight inches to twelve inches, well casing diameters for constructed wells will range from ten inches to twelve inches associated with SAWS Large Capacity Well Mitigation Program, SAWS Job No. 10-8603-206 The project area will include all or parts of the following counties: Bexar, Atascosa, Wilson, and Gonzales.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:30 a.m., February 3, 2010. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. This solicitation includes a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, CIQ Form, which should be included as part of your bid and will become part of the construction contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at10:00 a.m. on January 25, 2010 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, Tower II, 1stfloor, Conference Room C169, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Please be advised that under no circumstances shall any late or non-attendee(s) to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting be allowed to submit a bid for the project.
