Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 2,090 linear feet of 14” outside diameter recycled water main by Horizontal Directional Drilling along Wurzbach Road and approximately 1,700 linear feet of 12” inside diameter recycled water main by open cut trenching along Wurzbach Road and Merton Minter Road for the University Health System Recycled Water Main Project, SAWS Job No. 11-8606-202.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on July 12, 2012 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, first floor, Conference Room CR-C137, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 a.m., August 8, 2012.Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
