Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the Northeast Service Center Parking Lot Addition Project, SAWS Job No. 12-7701. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new concrete parking lot, asphalt overlay on portion of existing parking lot, fencing, new entrance driveway and automatic gate, grading, drainage, landscaping, lighting, and security services.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CST) on June 22, 2012 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 19, 2012 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, 4th floor, Conference Room C452, San Antonio, Texas, 78212.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 p.m., June 28, 2012. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Conference Room 169, San Antonio Water System Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. This solicitation includes a Good Faith Effort Plan and a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, CIQ Form, which should be included as part of your bid and will become part of the construction contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
The System reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all formalities.
